If you are in need of a getaway, you can’t go wrong with a visit to Eagle Ridge Resort. Last winter, my family and I spent a few days exploring the resort and area and had an amazing time. With spring right around the corner, I think a visit here would be amazing. In fact, here are reasons why you should visit Eagle Ridge Resort this spring. Whether you’re looking to relax at the spa or pack the day with fun activities, Eagle Ridge has something for you.
Why you should Visit Eagle Ridge Resort This Spring
Brand New Spa
I had a fabulous time at Stonedrift Spa last year, but if you visit this year it’s going to be even better! They now have a brand new location and facility that has more than doubled its size within the clubhouse complex, next to The General Golf Course. The new spa location is completely remodeled with a 6,000-square foot addition to accommodate the new relaxation spaces, wellness services and treatment rooms.
The spa has an entirely new look and aesthetic with high ceilings, a mix of state-of-the-art and earthy furnishings made from raw wood and natural stone. They even offer more services including all-natural nail-care (manicures and pedicures), a dedicated loft space for groups or bridal parties. Some unique wellness offerings including Reiki, Sound Healing and Forest Bathing to create a unique mind, body, and soul experience, luxurious Breathe & Detox rooms, where guests can feel the deep penetrating heat from an infrared sauna, state-of-the-art steam rooms, and so much more! Learn more about the spa offerings here. I am dying to get here to try out the new spa facility!
As you know, springtime in the Midwest does not always guarantee springtime weather. If that’s the case, I highly recommend stopping by Eagle Ridge ’s Nordic Center ou can enjoy outdoor activities like snowshoeing, sledding, or ice skating. Other activities found here include an indoor golf simulator by Trackman.
Another popular activity at Eagle Ridge is, of course, splashing at their indoor pool. If you have some free time, make sure to check out their waterfall in the area. Pretty cool! Other activities include horseback riding and golfing.
My favorite part about Eagle Ridge is the that they rent out villas and homes. We had such a fantastic stay at this particular villa.
With board games, TVs in every room, a pool table, we didn’t have to leave at all. Plus, if parents have work to do over spring break, this is the perfect spot for a workcation. Sometimes a simple change of scenery, is all the motivation you need to get work done.
Hike with Goats
Although technically not located at the resort, Hoof Galena is located just a few minutes away and a worthwhile unique diversion!
