Getting started at The Cove
We pulled into the lot and were greeted by the bright, welcoming lobby. Check-in was quick and easy thanks to the friendly front desk staff. Bonus: parking is free, and we received a parking permit to display during our stay.
Room highlights
We stayed in a Belle Loft Suite (Room 411), and it felt more like a private condo than a typical hotel room. The suite included 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a spacious living room with a pull-out sofa, a fully equipped kitchen, and a balcony with a great view overlooking the pool.
With two separate bedrooms, the kids had their own space to spread out and relax without feeling crowded. The living room with a pull-out sofa was ideal for our teen—giving him his own hangout zone complete with a TV and comfy seating. During the day, it became the perfect spot for everyone to unwind.
Another major plus with The Cove is that every room is a suite with a kitchen. It was perfect for making meals when we didn’t want to go out. All rooms come standard with a gas fireplace, microwave, dishwasher, and toaster. Talk about convenient!
Good to know: Since each suite at The Cove is individually owned, decor and furnishings may vary from room to room.
The Perfect Location
The Cove of Lake Geneva really is in the perfect spot. We were just steps from the beach, downtown, the lake, and tons of food options. Once we parked, we hardly needed the car—everything was so close! Another major plus? Not having to look for (and pay) for parking!

Is it really a vacation without some pool time? At The Cove of Lake Geneva, you get the best of both worlds with not one, but two pools—an indoor pool for year-round fun and a large outdoor pool area for sunny days. Outside, you’ll find a hot tub, a spacious main pool for swimming, and a kid-friendly pool with zero-depth entry featuring a pirate ship and a mushroom sprinkler.
Play at the arcade
What kid doesn’t like playing video games? They have enough games to keep the kids entertained, but not so many that they’ll never want to leave.
Fitness Center
Need to squeeze a workout it? The fitness center has a variety of cardio and weight machines.
Pop down to eat
If you’re hungry, you don’t have to go far—Lake City Social is located right inside The Cove, making it super convenient to grab a bite without even leaving the building. We loved being able to just pop downstairs and grab food. Everything we tried was delicious and quickly devoured! Some of our favorites included the giant pretzel (perfect for sharing), Korean pork belly, tuna bowl, steak sandwich, nachos, and the smash burger. You really can’t go wrong with any of it!

Take a stroll on the Lake Geneva Shore Path: Just steps from the hotel, this scenic path lets you walk or run along Geneva Lake while getting a peek at some of the lakefront estates. Read all about it here.

Let the kids burn off energy at Seminary Park: Located right behind The Cove, this small playground is perfect for younger kids to play and stretch their legs.

If you’re looking for a family-friendly stay with all the conveniences a family could want and need, The Cove Lake Geneva exceeded all expectations. The location couldn’t be better, the suites were spacious and comfortable, and the pool added a perfect touch of fun for the whole family!
