Have you ever seen sunflowers bathed in golden light? Head to Von Bergen’s Sunflower Festival to witness the magic. It’s been ages since we last visited, and there’s no better time to return than during their extended Golden Hours. Just before sunset, when the sky glows with a golden hue, it’s simply enchanting!

Our experience at Von Bergen’s Sunflower Maze:
Chow Down
We tried a buffalo chicken wrap, a chicken sandwich, chicken tenders, and chili hot dog. They were all delicious and the fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned.
Get Your Drink On!
Their Brew Bin has beer, wine, and our favorite sangria slushies! Trust me! They also serve Julie Ann’s frozen custard.
Play
The play area at Von Bergen’s is wholesome fun farm – pedal tractors, wheels, basketball, tire mountain, and more!
Say hello to the animals
My daughter loved visiting with the animals. You’ll also find goats, chicken, turkeys, and more.
Marvel in awe
Seeing the sunflowers was, of course, the highlight. So magical seeing them painted in a different light.
As always, we followed the kids lead stopping for photos along the way. We loved that there were props too for those perfect photo ops.

What an absolute delight! Breathtaking scenery, good food and drinks, and tons for the kids, make this a must. And if you can visit during Golden Hours you will not be disappointed.
