Getting Started at All Aglow at Nicholas Conservatory

After exploring Sinissippi Park, we headed over to Nicholas Conservatory for All Aglow Rockford and easily found parking right on-site. The parking area was convenient and close to the entrance, making it easy to jump right into the light-filled experience.

Take a stroll

The lights along the half-mile path are vibrant and eye-catching, with more than 500,000 bulbs illuminating the outdoor gardens. All Aglow Rockford truly transforms the space into a glowing winter escape.

My favorite part? Walking under the many lighted arches — there are so many, and each one makes a perfect photo spot. Be sure to charge your phone or camera before you go!

After you finish the main loop, the return walk takes you along the peaceful Rock River, giving you one last chance to soak in the glow before heading out.

Amazing, amazing, amazing! I still can’t believe this entire experience is free. From the glowing arches to the riverside walk, All Aglow Rockford truly delivers a magical holiday outing without the price tag. Great job, Rockford – this display is such a gift to the community!
