We’ve visited Stade’s plenty of times for strawberry picking and summer U-Pick fun, but it had been way too long since we experienced their Fall Festival and apple picking. This year, we finally made it back and it did not disappoint!
Getting Started at Stade’s Farm
Plenty of free parking on a grassy lot.
Apple Picking

After checking in at the U-Pick entrance, we hopped on the wagon and made our way to the orchard. Only two apple varieties were ready, but honestly, that was plenty. Being early in the season, the trees were full, and we had tons to choose from.

Farmtractions Theme Park

With over 50 activities, the Farmtractions Theme Park were kept busy the entire time. Activities were spaced apart but not too far from each other. Here are a few of our favorite activities:
Pedal Cars

Petting Zoo

Barrel Train

Slides

Antique Carousel
An authentic Allen Herschel 1922 hand carved wooden carousel

Get Your Treats

No matter the season, if Countrytime Creamery is open, it’s a must-stop for us. Besides the classic scoops of Hershey’s ice cream, there’s also milkshakes, over-the-top crazy shakes, ice cream flights, and our personal favorite: the cookie sandwich.

We also love picking up their delicious apple cider donuts at the Market.
