We arrived a little past lunch and we were hangry to say the least, so we wanted something quick but delicious. They have great options for food for food, but Shake Shack caught my eye. After using the touch screens to order our food (so cool!), we waited for our burgers and hot chicken sandwich. We all scarfed down our food!
We then proceeded to park closer to the “middle” in front of Barnes and Nobles by the green lawn. This was perfect since all the art we were about to see was around us. Plus, it was really close to Fairgrounds Coffee. Inside has a pretty cool vibe with subway tile and swings (yes, swings!) in front of the barista. (A plexiglass in between, of course!) Not only did they offer coffee, tea, and other beverages, but they also serve food so this would have been another great option. Next time, I’ll need to try their Funnel Cake fries and the coffee tasting. My Sticky Chai Latte did not disappoint.
My in-laws got the hot chocolate with Vosges chocolate on top. Pure deliciousness! With Covid, we enjoyed our coffee outdoors. With cute egg chairs, a colorful bench, and conveniently located by the green lawn, we much preferred the outdoors. The kids had a blast running around here!
“All the Best” sculpture
After our food and drinks, we were now ready to check out the art around Mellody Farm. We started with the “All the Best” Sculpture in front of Fairgrounds Coffee.
