HELLO, HELLO and welcome to O the Places We Go! My name is Cheryl and I’m the mom and face behind the lovely blog.
We’re a family of five that is always on the go. You can find us exploring the latest Chicagoland attraction or embarking on a new family-friendly destination. When we’re not out and about, you can sneak a peek into our real life.
Let’s face it – we’re all busy, so that’s why I like to lay out all the details for you. The highlights, what we didn’t like, tips, and all those details you’re wondering about.

Fun Facts About Us:
- Favorite museum in Chicago…hands down, the Museum of Science and Industry. We love the underground parking garage, so we don’t have to brave the weather and every visit is always different.
- A visit to a new destination is not complete until…..When I’m traveling, we ALWAYS have to try a local ice cream/dessert place. Blame it on our sweet tooth.
- When we travel we collect...Too much in all honesty, but we love our squished pennies, ornaments, and postcards
- Number one destination on our bucket list: Hawaii! My husband and I went here for our honeymoon. It was magical and we hope to revisit again with the kids!
